Martin RS-485 Optosplitter The RS-485 Optosplitter is an optically-isolated amplified splitter that allows the addition of four branches to a DMX data link. The amplification it provides allows a DMX link to be extended over the maximum length specified by the DMX-512 standard. Each branch is managed as an independent DMX data link and optical isolation ensures that a failure on one branch will have no effect on the other branches.
