Datavideo HS-550

The Datavideo HS-550 is a compact, portable one box solution, built around the Datavideo SE-500 four channel video & audio switcher, with connection for VGA or DVI equipment.

The Datavideo HS-550 also incorporates the Datavideo DN-60 removable CF card solid state recorder and ITC-50 five channel intercom and tally system.

One of the really unique features of the HS-550 is that all four input sources are displayed via a single quad output, the preview display also includes a superimposed tally indicator on each input. This feature means all four inputs are displayed, as well as the program output via the integrated TLM-702 dual screen TFT monitor.

The Datavideo HS-550 is a fully integrated solution housed in a stylish and light aluminium carrying case, for easy and secure transport and storage.

Connections include Composite Video input / output and also includes Digital Video (DV25) output, which could be connected to an external computer or streaming solution.

Built in four channel 4:2:2 Time Base Corrector (TBC) & frame synchroniser, so no external synchronising (Genlock) of the cameras or sources is required for a perfect, glitch free and smooth transition

Video effects include dissolve, fade, several types of Wipes, Split screen, Picture in Picture (PiP) and Colour Processor

Built in connection for optional extra Datavideo DN-60 which utilizes the latest solid state technology recording directly to a removable and high-capacity CF memory card. Record to either .avi or .mov fi le format for fast and direct import to computer based editing systems
DV output is perfect for recording to external computers or for easy live internet streaming
Recording times are far longer than for traditional tape, there are no drop-outs which is perfect when recording a live show or presentation
