Noua serie de splicere FSM 60S are dimensiuni mai mici si e mai usoara decat predecesoarele sale si ofera protectie marita la praf, apa, vibratii si socuri (vezi aici cateva teste de rezistenta efectuate de Fujikura: http://www.youtube.com/user/teleprecisionmts ). Noul model are deasemenea o baterie care poate fi incarcata in timpul unei operatii normale.
